NVPx allows you to use the now open-source VP8 codec on the .Net platform.
NVPx will allow you to easily use VP8 in your .Net project. It provides you with an object-oriented wrapper.
As you all know VP8 is now made open-source thanks to Google and is one of the most advanced video codecs available today. It competes with H.264 and Theora.
